Do I have to be a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to be considered for employment?

No. At A-1 ABC, you will be provided with online, in-person, and on-the job training to best prepare you for your Direct Service Worker duties. See our employment page for a description of the DSW (direct service worker) role.

What will I be doing as a DSW?

A direct service worker fulfills all the home care needs a client requires. This may include, but not limited to, meal prep, laundry, medication administration, other daily living tasks.

How do I request time off? 

To request time off you must fill out a request form 2 weeks in advance & submit it to our Gretna office.

I need help with Timesheets. Where do I go?

The best resource for Timesheet assistance is to visit our Timesheets page.

When are timesheets due?

As stated in training, timesheets are due every MONDAY.

​

Can I bring a client to my house?

No. You cannot take a client to your house. 

​

I accidentally clocked-in while another DSW was clocked in.
