The goal of the medical administration modules is to introduce a competency-based, core curriculum that provides non-licensed staff with the basic knowledge, skill and guidance needed to ensure safe and effective medication administration and performance of noncomplex tasks.

There will be 6 modules to complete as follows:​

• Module 1: Legal Issues, Policies, and Procedures

• Module 2: Infection Control Measures

• Module 3: Classifications of Medications & Terminology

• Module 4: Medication Preparation, Administration, Storage & Six Rights of Medication Administration

• Module 5: Vital Signs

• Module 6: Documentation

After each module, there will be a 10 question examination that requires you to obtain an 80% or above to move to the next module

Modules 1 - 3 will be completed on Day 1 of training while Modules 4 - 6 will be completed on Day 2
